Privacy Policy - Applications
Applications covered under Voltis Core
Voltis Core is the Windows desktop installer and updater for Voltiscore apps. The suite apps below are distributed and updated through Voltis Core (and may also be available on other channels). This privacy policy applies to every row in this table. A single Voltiscore account (email, display name, and sign-in session) may be used across apps that support sign-in.

| Pinnacle Transfer | Large creative file handoffs on your local network | Yes |
| Clipstack | Clipboard history; optional LAN sharing between devices | Yes |
| NotepadPro | Notes, tasks, tables, CSV, and HTML preview | Yes |
| Content Calendar | Local-first content planning for creators | Yes |
| Sniper | Screen and camera reaction capture with background removal | Yes |
| Bars | Animated bar stats for presentations, demos, and social | Yes |
When we add a new app to the Voltis Core catalog on voltislabs.uk/voltiscore, that app is covered by this policy from the date it is listed unless we publish a separate policy for it. Other Voltis Labs apps that are not part of Voltis Core (for example marketplace or mobile-only products on voltislabs.uk) are also covered by this policy unless they link to different terms.

1. Who we are
The data controller for Voltis Labs applications is Voltis Labs, a software and product studio (remote-first). For privacy requests relating to our apps, contact us via voltislabs.uk/contact with the subject line “App privacy request” and the name of the app.
2. Summary
Many Voltis Core and Voltiscore apps are designed to be local-first: your content (notes, calendar posts, images, files, clipboard entries, and similar data) is stored primarily on your device. Voltiscore account data (such as email and display name) is used for sign-in and entitlements; we do not host your app content in a central cloud by default. This policy explains what we collect, when we collect it, and your choices.
3. Information we collect
Depending on the app and features you use, we may process:
- Content you create - text, images, files, tags, captions, calendar entries, clipboard history, and other material you add in an app. This is usually stored locally on your device unless you explicitly use a sharing, sync, or export feature.
- Voltiscore account data - when you create or sign in to a Voltiscore account (including through Voltis Core or on voltislabs.uk/voltiscore), we process your email address, display name, authentication tokens or session identifiers, and related account status needed to sign you in and unlock Pro features per app.
- Device and app data - app version, operating system version, device type, language/locale, installed product identifiers (for example which Voltiscore apps Voltis Core has installed or can update), and diagnostic logs if you submit a crash report or contact support.
- Purchase information - if you buy a subscription or in-app purchase, payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or another platform billing provider. We receive transaction identifiers and subscription status from the store to unlock paid features; we do not receive your full payment card number.
- Local network data - Pinnacle Transfer, Clipstack, and Content Calendar (and any other suite app that offers LAN or link-based sharing) can send or receive content with other devices on the same Wi‑Fi or local network. That traffic stays on your network; we do not receive the contents of those transfers on our servers unless an app explicitly states otherwise.
- Preferences - theme, settings, and plan status may be stored locally on your device (for example using on-device storage APIs).
- Support communications - if you email us or use a contact form, we receive the information you send.
4. How we use information
- To provide and operate the app features you request.
- To validate subscriptions and restore purchases.
- To improve reliability, fix bugs, and develop new features.
- To respond to support requests and legal obligations.
- Where permitted, to send important service notices (not marketing unless you opt in).
5. Legal bases (UK / EEA users)
Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on: contract (providing the app and paid features), legitimate interests (security, improvement, support), and legal obligation where required. For optional analytics or marketing, we rely on consent where required.
6. Sharing and processors
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Platform providers - Apple (App Store, in-app purchases, TestFlight), and similar stores for distribution and billing.
- Service providers - hosting, email, crash reporting, or analytics tools used by a specific app (each app's product page or in-app notice may name additional providers).
- Legal requirements - courts, regulators, or law enforcement when required by law.
7. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK or EEA. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or UK extension regulations).
8. Retention
Local app content remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve enquiries and meet legal requirements. Subscription records from app stores are retained according to store policies and our accounting needs.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability. You may also complain to a supervisory authority (for example the UK ICO). Contact us to exercise your rights; we may need to verify your identity.
10. Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data we process. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you are responsible for securing your device and Apple ID.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version at this URL and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
